Why things always happen while I'm painting my toenails

No, they don't really. But this makes a great title for a post about random stuff.

1. Aiden
He's possibly the cutest little boy you could ever meet. He's five, has big blue eyes and a shock of gorgeous red hair. He's so serious about violin, but he sometimes wiggles around on the ground like a little worm and giggles.

Today, he looked like he was pretty tired, but I kept gently encouraging him to keep playing. I was kneeling on the floor to be on his level, and just as he finished the last note, this look that I've never seen before came onto his face. "Great job, Aiden, you did it!" His eyes grew round and watery, and he looked this combination between shock and utter horror. Suddenly, I hear his father's voice say, "Oh no, Buddy!" I look down, and watch a large puddle of yellow liquid pool around poor Aiden's feet!

What followed was a lot of scrubbing and comforting poor Aiden, who was crying from embarrassment.

2.Play Practice
Jonas, you are possibly the randomest (is that a word, or just teen slang?)/funniest person in the school. :) Explanation: School Play
Jonas: Are you refusing me?
Kasia: I have a phone, you know! And guess what, it rings only once a week, on Sundays, which is when my mother calls! And...
Random Jonas interruption: (grabs phone) Ring ring, it's your mother calling!

Well, I suppose one had to be there, but it was pretty darn funny :)

3. Nightwish
My friend Jeff introduced me to an incredible band called Nightwish. They are absolutely phenominal! They're a Finnish band that doesn't stick to one genre of music but branches out and does everything from an 18 minute long musical to Celtic fiddle metal. They are beautiful, exquisite, and just plain musical!
Here we have The Last of the Islanders: Celtic Fiddle Metal

4. I was lying. Yes, things do happen when I paint my toenails. This time it was the phone and the doorbell ringing at the same time.

1. Crazy kids. At least he's serious about something cool. :)

2. Thanks. :) I figure if you can roll with me messing around, then acting with me when I'm actually doing what I'm supposed to should be no problem. That and I had a LOT of jitters to get out. Though a lot of people didn't like what I was doing. Sure, they were laughing but they didn't really appreciate it. I guess you fall into the "I like it" category.
3. Nightwish is an amazing band. I would totally love it if half the music made today just ceased to exist and only bands like Nightwish were the only ones kicking around. :)
4. And that is why I stopped painting my nails. :P No, just kidding.

oook..that was def random but also totally awesome. :)
been awhile since i commented on your stuff.. if i ever have. :P i will try to do so when i get the chance though.
i think that the pacman thing was better than the phone ringing. :D Jonas is just that awesome that he can come up with pacman from a love letter.
painting your toenails is like the best but highly annoying when it gets interrupted by phones (which was prolly your mother calling :P) and the doorbell.

Woot! Now we have some more commentating on these blogs!!! :D Congrats Cheryl! Please stop more often. Three people who hardly ever log in is better than two. :P

Well I can come up with more than just pacman from a love letter. ;) But it just seemed right. I was saying dot dot dot a lot so I thought of pacman. And since we were messing around with our lines that night, it just worked out. And my props to Sarah for rolling with it so smoothly, and saying/doing little things that allowed me to tie the loose ends of the lines I added.
Ahahahah, Cheryl you are so funny! Painting nails while interrupted by a phone call from your mother (play reference for those of you who don't understand) is just funny!
But really though. Sarah, I think you have one of the craziest lives I know. Never has anything happened while I painted my nails. Granted, when I painted mine it was like one in the morning, but still.... :P

I'ma bring my camera too!
That idea is positively amazing! Makes me want to bring my tripod now....but there is no way that would be allowed. I'll see if I can fit in my video camera (for better quality video/audio - no offence to your camera)

You come up with the best ideas! An improv night. And now nailpolish night. You REALLY know my favourite things!

I too am glad Cheryl is back. Maybe we should get some other people in on this blog stuff....? Hmm?

No problem with sounding giddy. You better be giddy for band tour! :P

I love how the comments always get wayyyyyy off track of whatever the point to the original blog post was.
