It's the stuff I wait for all year round. And it's not even for the taste. Of course, it does taste delicious. The stuff is ridiculously creamy, full to the top with candy-cane pieces and loaded with chocolate crackles. But the real reason that I love it so much is that it embodies the Christmas Season in my mind, just as much as the first snowfall, the claymation Rudolph that I used to watch on TVO kids every year, and the plush Barney-wearing-a-Santa-hat that we used to set out for me.
Notice that I've said The Christmas Season. That's something totally different than Christmas itself. Christmas is about Christ, and The Season is technically about commercialism. However, to me the Christmas Season still has some kind of magic, which to me, is embodied in my Candy-cane ice-cream.

Way to distinguish between Christmas and The Christmas Season!
It is true, but sad that this is what Christmas has become. All about the presents, and all the random junk that goes on sale only at Christmas time.
The one benefit of The Christmas Season is cheap deals on many things. So if you are looking at getting a computer or a car or something, now is the time to do it.
I love what starts The Christmas Season off for you. I should probably have some of that stuff eventually. :P
Thanks :)
It made me slightly angry the other day when I saw an ad campaign at a clothes store showing clothes and saying saying "Joy to the Girl." It doesn't even make me angry so much that they're using a Christmas Carol about christ, because every major corporation has to be secular nowadays. It's the fact that in the secular world, Christmas is supposed to be about peace and joy, and they took that idea and smashed it into pieces. GRR.
That is just stupid. What is this world coming to? I understand parodies and all, but some things are just not ok for that of thing. This is one of them.
DOWN WITH SECULARISM!!!!! Hehe, now I found a purpose in life. lol
I wonder what even the secular world considers the meaning of Christmas to be anymore....
