That....is....awesome!!! If only I could have that fish for dinner....*drools* That would be amazing! *drools more* Is there like an inside joke attached to this or something?
Ok, for careers we had to make a powerpoint for a student employment office. I was really boored, so I started making a a random powerpoint that had barely anything to do with careers. It went like this:
The sketchy traveling salesmen powerpoint.
Careers that you can be:
opera singer, fishmonger, sewage cleaner
How do we witness to the fishmongers?
Many ways including
Bible thumping.
Random eh? Makes no sense. It's such an awesome picture though. Sweetness.
Seeing as the course finished last Friday and I'm not done the ISU yet...
No, actually, I loved careers class. It was fun. Miss Dibbits is an awesome teacher. She gave me an extension on the ISU... I was SO happy when she did!
I don't think anyone takes it seriously. Such a stupid course and a waste of time. Dibbits kept me somewhat sane throughout the course whilst I was figuring out what I already knew: I do not fit in anywhere, have no interests, am not good at anything that could get me a good job, and have no ambitions. You the extremely perfect student needing an extension in Careers class of all places? Wow, my world has been rocked.
I am NOT a perfect student! I have a very hard time focusing on things that I am not interested in. I had a very difficult time doing this last unit of careers. And I have a hard time doing my homework while the computer is on, which is bad, seeing as a lot of homework is done on the computer.
Well you are a better student than I, which does not really say much. :P Wow, totally thought you were focused on abolutely everything. But welcome to club "Never-being-able-to-focus-on-anything....ever" club. :)
I find that being so random that you wind up focusing works. just look at me for an example of that. :P I also find some way to relieve stress is a good way too. Like an hour of gaming more or less every day. Cross country is good. Paintball is amazing for me. One thing that used to work for me but doesn't anymore since I never get out of it is to just chill at home for a bit before actually doing something like homework. Hope all that helps. :)
I'm purple-haired, music-lovin', seventeen, and attempting to sort out my life... my friend's death from cancer has changed everything: my dreams, my hopes, and my faith. I'm just wading through things one step at a time.
Aside from my all of that, I'm a bit of a rebel and a self-christened music-nerd. I play violin and just finished my grade ten violin exam (I passed too!) I am the Concert Mistress of my orchestra, and had my soloist debut playing Vivaldi's Spring Concerto in the middle of February. (Oh, the irony.) I play other instruments like piano and oboe. I like writing piano music and I’m attempting to write a musical. I'm an actress at heart.
Books are my escape. I have a “slight” obsession with Harry Potter that my friends laugh at.
School has its ups and downs. Music is practically my life. Whether I'm listening to it or playing it or reading about, or teaching it, music comes as naturally as breathing.
I'm also Canadian. Eh?
Currently, I'm at music camp. I'm almost more excited than I've ever been in my life- I'm in a choir doing songs from LES MIS! I am privileged to sing Little Fall of Rain... ! (!)
Tiffy the Pink Fluffy Yellow Llama came from a long and complicated joke made up way back in elementary school by my friend Richard. It had something to do with a strange writing assignment from our incredible english teacher. And yes, it is possible to be a pink llama and a yellow llama at the same time. Just don't ask me how.

Thanks :) Unfortunately, I'm trying to get myself out of the never-being-able-to-focus-on-anything club. It doesn't work for me too well :)
